Who is this for, and how does it go?

For anyone who could use a bit of extra mail. For yourself, or for someone you're thinking of: a grandfather, a grandmother, a neighbour who lights up at something handwritten in the letterbox. You don't have to give a reason, and the recipient doesn't have to be or do anything special. Anyone who'd love to get mail belongs here.

Once you've filled in the address, we take it from there. We check the details and send a welcome letter to that address, with the account code inside. The resident fills in the postcode, the house number and that code on our site, and with that the address is confirmed. After that, something can land in the letterbox now and then.

Helping someone who isn't comfortable with the internet? Then the welcome letter lands on that person's doormat. Ask them for the account code and fill in the confirmation together, at your own pace. You don't have to live there yourself to arrange this, but the resident always decides for themselves whether mail comes. So only sign up someone who wants it themselves.

The address stays private. We only use it to deliver the cards, and we share it with no one, not even the senders. All mail runs through us, in both directions, so the sender and the recipient never get to know each other's name or address.

Work in care, a community centre or a seniors' association?

Do you know more people through your work who light up at a card in the letterbox? Then you don't have to sign them up one by one. We're happy to send you a little stack of welcome letters to hand out yourself, so everyone can confirm in their own time. Just let us know you'd like them, and we'll arrange it.
